Motor symptoms associated with HD, like chorea, may cause involuntary, uncontrolled movements that can decrease the ability to do everyday activities. These symptoms may:

Impair handwriting, drinking from a cup, getting dressed, and other ordinary tasks

Impair gait and balance

Affect the ability to drive

Lead to risk of falling

Lead to risk of choking

For people living with HD, their families, and their carepartners, education and resources can be powerful tools in understanding motor symptoms. That's why Teva created www.HDMotorSymptoms.com.
