AVAglio trial meets co-primary endpoint of PFS. “It’s about time” for this advance in the treatment of newly diagnosed GBM!
Today’s announcement of the pivotal AVAglio data marks an important milestone in the treatment of newly diagnosed glioblastoma (GBM). The success of this study represents a major advance for all those involved in the fight against this devastating disease.
Over the coming months, you will see a number of internal communications regarding Avastin in GBM that focus on the theme, “It’s about time.” We want to take a moment to introduce our new internal campaign and highlight how this concept conveys the essence of what Avastin in GBM means for patients, physicians, and us at Roche.

It’s about time...
| • |
For patients, it’s about more time to live the best life possible thanks to a significant extension in the critical window between diagnosis and first progression
|
| • |
For physicians, it’s about time for a new treatment to finally raise the standard of care for newly diagnosed GBM, a disease that until now had limited therapeutic options
|
| • |
For Roche, it’s all about maximizing the time from now until approval to prepare for launch and ensure that Avastin becomes an integral part of the new standard of care
|
Stay tuned for more “It’s about time” initiatives, and in preparation for our upcoming competition (details to come), take a few moments to reflect on what “time” means to you.
